EMDR and ifs therapy in Utah and oklahoma
Meet Deb
Freedom from the past and peace in who you are
Hi, I’m Deb…
I'm a trauma therapist who works with people ready to move past what talk therapy alone couldn't shift. If you've been carrying self-doubt, perfectionism, or patterns that feel stuck, EMDR and IFS can help you get to the root without re-living everything all over again.
I trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems because I kept seeing how much people could understand their pain and still feel trapped by it. These approaches work differently. They help you process what's been held in your body and nervous system, not just your thoughts.
I’m EMDRIA certified and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I’m also trained in IFS and work with LGBTQ clients, people with ADHD, and anyone navigating faith transitions or major life changes. I see clients in Utah and Oklahoma.
This is your moment to dive beneath the surface - to address what’s really there and find the lasting peace you’ve been looking for.
Why I do this work…
I became a therapist because I saw how many people were doing everything right and still couldn't shake what they were carrying. Smart, capable people who had read the books, tried the strategies, and understood their patterns intellectually, but something still felt unresolved.
I wanted to work with the part of healing that thinking alone can't reach. EMDR and IFS let me do that. They help people access what's been stuck in the body and nervous system, not just the story they've been telling themselves about it.
This work matters to me because I believe people deserve more than coping. You deserve to feel grounded, clear, and like yourself again.
We’ll find the path forward, together.
Clients often describe our work as both grounding and hopeful.
I don't believe in rushing or “fixing.” I believe in listening closely, trusting your inner wisdom, and walking beside you as you find your own pace and direction.
My approach weaves EMDR and IFS to help you move beyond survival patterns and toward a deeper sense of wholeness. Together, we'll notice what's ready for healing, honor what still needs protection, and create gentle pathways toward lasting change.
My hope is that you leave each session feeling more connected to yourself, with more spacious room to breathe, and with confidence that healing is possible, even after deep hurt.
My Values
These values are the heart of my work—the steady ground beneath every story and every step we take together.
Authenticity
Healing begins in real connection. I show up as a genuine, grounded person - not a distant expert - so you can feel safe bringing your whole self into the room.
Respect
Every part of your story matters. I honor your pace, your boundaries, and your lived experience as we navigate this work together.
Collaboration
We'll walk this path together—sharing curiosity, openness, and compassion as we find the way forward.
Presence
Lasting change happens in the moments we slow down and truly connect. My role is to hold space with steadiness and care while your inner world finds room to breathe again.
